Information the app uses

When you sign in with Google, the app receives your Google account identifier, verified email address and name to create or identify your golf profile. It requests basic sign-in information only, without access to Gmail, Google Drive or Calendar.

The app stores the display name and practice preferences you choose, practice activities, round statistics, lesson notes and imported TrackMan session data that you save. This information powers your journal, progress charts and practice suggestions. TrackMan analysis runs in the app; saved session data is associated with your signed-in profile.

Result photos

Photos selected for activity logging are processed locally in your browser. The photo and raw recognized text are not uploaded or saved. Only the values you review, apply and save become part of your activity. The browser downloads and may cache the text-recognition software and language data.

Storage and access

For Google users, saved golf data is stored in the hosted app database and separated by account. It is not displayed to other golfers. The operator and hosting providers may process data to operate and maintain the service. The hosted version uses OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare infrastructure. Local development uses a separate database on the developer's computer.

The app uses an essential sign-in cookie. Google sessions expire after 30 days, and signing out revokes the active app session. Saved golf records remain after sign-out. To request account or saved-data removal, contact the operator above. You can also revoke Google sign-in access through your Google Account settings; revoking access does not itself remove saved golf records.

Guest mode

Guest display names, practice preferences, practice logs, rounds, lesson notes and saved TrackMan shot values are stored only in local storage in your browser. Guest journal reads and saves do not call the app database. After signing in with Google, you may explicitly import the guest journal into that account; this copies those records to the hosted database and retains the browser copy. Anyone using the same browser profile can access this guest journal. Clearing browser data removes it, and it does not sync across devices or merge into a Google account. Leaving guest mode preserves the journal for your next visit.
